OUR REVIEW

A five minute stroll from Syntagma (parliament) square - right in the centre, where the sights of Athens await. A quality renovation has turned the Amalia Hotel into a worthy, most pleasing contender for your stay.

Rooms are modern, quiet, many with view to the main park of the city centre, a few have Acropolis view. You can go shopping, Acropolis-visiting, museum hunting, cafe-crawling, dining and return to relax, refresh and of course sleep peacefully in comfort, just a short walk away. Amalia is close to Ermou the main shopping street, the Acropolis, Plaka and convenient for the Metro (for the airport or Piraeus port), buses and trams run past the hotel. When a quieter stroll amongst green plants and trees seems the best thing to suit your mood, across the road is Athens' central park.

Double glazed windows keep rooms quiet and comfortable with front rooms looking over the National Gardens while others look towards the rear, a few have a view of the Acropolis (for greater quiet stay in a rear room perhaps).

The roof terrace offers you views all over athens from Lycabettus to the Acropolis, from Piraeus to Syntagma square and beyond.

Standard Room: 21 m², 1st-5th floor. Facing the back, with bright open view between buildings (quiet).
Superior Room: 21 m², 4th-5th floor. Most have side view and some have view to the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill.
Deluxe Room: 23 m², on all floors. With balcony. View to the National Gardens, the House of Parliament and Lycabettus Hill.

There are 6 Deluxe rooms that interconnect with Standard rooms, to accommodate families.
Executive Room: 24 m², 6th floor. With spacious balcony & wide views to the city.
Executive Suite: 42 m², 6th floor, corner suite. Living room and separate bedroom. With large balcony & view to the National Gardens and Lycabettus Hill.
