OUR REVIEW

Belvedere is in an ideal Firostefani location. Views are fabulous - classic Santorini, with good rooms and pool area. There is a gym but you will always exercise in Santorini as there are steps everywhere (most hotels with The View are built stepping down the caldera - steps are the only way!).

From cool standard rooms to maisonette (two level ) master suites all accommodation provides you the view you are looking for. There are also, as in many parts of the caldera of Santorini, some rooms built into the caves of the mountainside (they still have the view). These will appeal to some tremendously, but perhaps be a bit to, well, cave-like for others!

Belvedere Hotel offers everything you need for a really special and comfortable chance to relax, sleep, drink in and enjoy the magical unique experience of Santorini. It is smart and swish-Aegean without chic-pretense or anything to detract from core view-enjoying comforts and appealing style you may want.

Views from the pool are to the volcano, you also see Thirassia island and to each side towards Imerovigli & then the cluster around you of Firostefani and towards Fira.

A fine choice of places to stay for your pleasurable absorption of the Santorini view experience. An easy place to get to, park nearby and to cafes and a great huddle of restaurants.

Studios (15): Open plan bedroom with double or twin beds, dressing table, kitchenette, balcony or terrace with volcano view. (1 studio is extra spacious & has more limited view)

Junior Suites (3): Bedroom with double bed, separate living room, balcony or terrace with volcano view.

Master Suites (5): Maisonette style, for up to 4 people. The main bedroom is upstairs with en-suite bathroom with shower and downstairs a spacious living room and a second bathroom with jacuzzi bathtub, balcony or terrace with volcano view.
Some of the balconies & terraces are private (others are less so or shared).

Renting a car is recommended if you plan to explore the island.
