OUR REVIEW

The views are very good. And at Ellinon Thea you can drive up and park almost outside. Yet there you are in comfort and good decor, right on the caldera with the Santorini view.

The thing is, from here you can walk to less crowded restaurants, two we recommend within 3 minutes stroll (see our Santorini guide) and cafes to enjoy the view. Drive in and out if you fancy seeing the other villages of Santorini - a trip to Oia or the other end of Fira, or up to Pyrgos - staying at Ellinon Thea avoids the need for the famous 39 or many more steps, that are normally the on-the-caldera requirements of staying in a Santorini hotel with a view.

Breakfast is served in your suite or on your balcony and snacks are available to help you stay there lazily in the day, perhaps after an afternoon nap...

Suites have a jacuzzi tub either in the upstairs bedroom area of your suite (living room is down below) or on the single floor (just as much space) suites, the tub is on the balcony (tub with a view!).
