OUR REVIEW
The most special of Homeric Poems' suites, the Grand Suite is a very splendid way of staying in Santorini - it is the choice you might make when you choose to spend a bit and get, well, a lot more - it is beautiful. But standard rooms are more than just fine - they are smart, bright and well presented. The themes are all rounded walled steps up and down between rooms, suites and the pool. The views are spectacular - The View is yours!
Positioned at the central caldera-edge part of Firostefani, hardly as much as a stroll away from cafes and good restaurants and a walk further along takes you past the neighbouring hotels into the busier village of Fira (one village rolls smoothly into the other).
A luxurious hotel in the true Santorini style - the images you may have of Santorini will only be enhanced and enriched when you stay here.
An exquisite pool, bar and traditional painted wood sun lounger chairs, pristine painted steps and walls. Also possible to request, with us, a room not so many steps down from the entrance if this is an important feature for you. Breakfast is served in your room or on your terrace.
Parking is easier than some hotels (though in peak season Santorini is busy and everything takes more time!).

THE APARTMENTS & SUITES
Apartments:
Each named after a Homeric character. Bedroom area with built in double bed, spacious living room area with sofas, dining table and small kitchenette. Bathroom with shower. Terrace with volcano views.
"Captain's Houses" Superior Suites:
An old captain's house renovated in 1998 was converted to 3 Superior Suites which can be united into one house able to accommodate up to 12 people. They share (with part division) a terrace decorated with its original pebble stone mosaic, with fish designs. White marble floors, gallery/loft bedroom, original hand made furniture, antiques, marble bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs.
Honeymoon "Thea" Suites:
The "Eros" suite: On two levels. The lower level is the living room with traditional furniture and the upper level is the bedroom with double bed and a big panoramic window in front of it. The other windows are original brass-framed ship's windows. It has a small balcony but the main feature of this beautiful room is the view from the bedroom.
The "Achilles" Suite: Spacious terrace offering complete privacy. It has a view from the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub. Materials used are silk organza in light purple and light orange trying to match the colours of the suite's beautiful sun-setting views.
Grand Suites:
Approx. 100 m2 in space, with private pool. Large living room area with sound & visual system, dinning area. Many big windows with breathtaking views of the Aegean, volcano and the glorious sunset. The bedroom leads onto the terrace and has a king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom with a large marble jacuzzi - has a ceiling illuminated with fibre optics, giving the look of a night sky filled with stars. Ultra-romantic atmosphere & decor.
Note: Due to the delicate decorative items like crystals & antiques, the Grand Suite is not suitable for children under 16 years old.
