OUR REVIEW
A charming Nafplion boutique hotel - quality rooms, decor and furnishings, plush comfort.
Just off the waterfront on a street near cafes and restaurants, Ippoliti Hotel is an most enjoyable place to base your stay in Nafplion and the surrounding attractions of the Peloponnese.
Elegant chairs in the club-like tiled lobby area is a welcome note on arrival. Rooms are elegant, furnished with quality items and attractive solid wood furniture.
A small, swim-against-the-wave, kidney-shaped pool will satisfy the "gotta' swim" moments before you stroll and explore Nafplio's castle, ancient historic churches and shops with truly original things to buy.
Nearby are cafes serving gelati ice creams, delicious rich filled pastries and of course numerous great culinary experiences - restaurants to remember.
Even cafes and bars here are often more notable than in many other destinations with original decorative themes, varied styles of music and attention to creating a little more experience than just a cup, glass or tray and... the check.
One thing that is important for any stay - the comfort of the bedrooms... perfect, and a cozy loft room for something different, a suite for a treat. These are really enjoyable rooms from the "Superior" double rooms, to a little more space and style in a double suite, to the spoil-yourself-why-not President Suite. Choose according to the extra space, presence of a balcony or whatever you treasure. There is an elevator/lift to whisk you up to your floor.

Some rooms have balconies, with view to the Nafplion streets or to the sea & Bourtzi fortress and island.
There are 3 suites for up to 4 people, with a bedroom and a separate living room with sofa-bed(/-s).
The Presidential suite is attic/loft style.

The trip was fabulous. I would highly recommend the Hotel Ipalito (spelling?) and Nafplio. The hotel rooms where immaculate, the staff very courteous and the breakfast was just right, (Fresh Fruit, Greek Yogurt, pastries, and for the Westerners Eggs, bacon, sausage
This was our first visit to Greece. We travelled there from Ireland where I live with my wife and children on a work assignment as we are from Chicago.
