Let the Sounds of the Sea "Travel" Your Mind !

Almost at the tip of the Mani coast, a small bay with a few houses, some restored, some old and ready to improve (!). But at the end of this tiny bay, the end of the village is Kyrimai….built from stone in 1870 and restored in 2003 to be a magic oasis by the sea for those who would seek something fine and calm, with the sense of the area you have visited, but the style and comforts of luxury.
This is a place I would drive to, enjoying the magnificent scenery on the way and then settle in for a worthwhile amount of time. You too deserve this pleasure.

Public areas and rooms are all most attractive…when you arrive in a good place to stay perhaps you should feel that you have arrived somewhere by special invitation – you feel this at Kyrimai.

Breakfast is by the pool, in fact you dine by the pool on a fine day. There is shade if needed, or if the breeze or wind picks up, the solidly furnished dining room is there for you as are various areas to sit, relax, chat or even play pool.
Talking of pool the swimming pool is of good size and you can enjoy the luxurious feeling of swimming in a pool that is so close to the rocks and the sea.
The restaurant is a pride and joy for the area. The quality of your stay will be excellent in comfort, atmosphere and gastronomy.

Bedrooms and suites have fine beds, well-chosen furniture, substantial drapes and good bathrooms.
Some rooms have a small balcony or terrace and if you look down you are truly on the edge of the sea - waves appear to lap below at the edge of the building as if you were staying in a lighthouse.
This a rocky coastline - as the most dramatic ones are.

Gerolimenas and therefore Kyrimai, is on the same latitude as southern Sicily and the straits of Gibraltar.
Further down from Gerolimenas on the peninsula, in Porto Sternes is the temple of Tainarios Poseidon, and on the beach are the relics of the Asomatos church. Next to the church, you can visit Hades cave, where Poseidon was worshipped.
Also worth visiting is the Tainaro Cape, the tip of the peninsula, with one of the largest lighthouses in Greece.

Classic Double rooms:(16-18m²) located at courtyard , no sea view but just meters away from pool and sea, bathrooms with shower or bathtub.
Premier rooms:(24m²) a little bigger than Classic, courtyard view, two extar sofa-beds (two extra persons can sleep on), bathrooms with bathtub.
Two-level Classic rooms: (Lower level size 13m² and Loft size 10m²)partly sea view, Gerolimeras Bay and village view. The bed is in a gallery area and there is a small sitting area downstairs.Can host 2 guests. Bathroom with shower.
Two-level Superior rooms:(Lower level size 12m² and Loft size 10m²) in two levels, with great sea views - one of them with private balcony.Fireplace and DVD player.Bathroom with jacuzzi tub.
Superior Double rooms:(25m²) sea view, spacious, fireplace, bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shared veranda with a WiFi network Two of them can host a third person and two of them can sleep up to four persons.
(1 of the Superior double rooms that takes up to 4 people has village view)
The Tower House : (total area of tower 30m² - 10m² per level )An original 1870's Maniot tower house which located in the middle of hotel's building complex. A symbol of family power. Enjoys 360' breathtaking panoramic views to the open sea and Gerolimenas bay and village. First level has a large bathroom with a round double jacuzzi bath. The second level has the double bed and further up the steps two single beds for two chidren. Keep in mind that the tower has many steep steps.
The Junior Suite Loft (30m²): located at the highest point of the hotel,sitting area with fireplace (an extra person can sleep here), bathroom with jacuzzi tub, private balcony & sea - pool view.
Loft Suite:(40m²) Hotel's largest room all on one level, comfortable, luxurious, cosy, a very unique room with jacuzzi bathroom, small private balcony, romantic and relaxing athmosphere, a panoramic view to the open sea.
The Two Level Suite (60m²): spacious sitting area with fireplace (an extra person can sleep here), 4-poster queen size bed, spacious bathroom with jacuzzi tub, private balcony immediately over the sea, stunning sea views.
The Master Suite: (65m² and distance form the sea 6 meters )The Suite is full of light and sea views. Ideal for a honeymoon or a special occasion.The original tower dating from 1870 (clearly visible in our photographs). Just a superb room for superb guests.Split into three levels: first level has a huge bathroom with round jacuzzi tub ( with a view over Gerolimenas bay ), second level is the bedroom and third level is a small sitting area (where an extra person could sleep). A small balcony where you feel that you can touch the sea and great sea views through the small windows.

All rooms are non-smoking (guests can smoke on their balcony/terrace and outdoor restaurant & hotel areas).
Double beds in all rooms (there are no rooms with twin beds, however some rooms have additionally a single sofa-bed).
