Exceptional, rare and truly superb. Imaret is one of a

history, taste, style and exotic architecture, calm quality hospitality
and ambience of quality and privilege combine. A destination in its own
right, in an area with many travellers treats in store. Rooms range from
oh-so-fine and unique to a major exotic treat, domed ceilings, draped
areas and beds - full of eastern promise and the first level of Greek
hospitality.

A perch in the
mountains, near ski slopes...Granitis
Hotel
The mountain village hotel typified. A stone lodge style
building holds 12 rooms and a couple of suites, a lounge with fireplace
and ample windows to enjoy the "after the day's exploration" evening
drink or meal. Skiing is available 40 minutes away, but summer visits -
as all seasons - offer the joys of a small village and its ever changing
colours on the mountains surrounding it. Good central resting point for
a few days, followed by a drive onto the contrasting route to Drama or
Kavala or along a wondrous and magical, tensely winding road down to
Serres.
