OUR REVIEW

Kardamyli is concealed along the middle of the spectacularly scenic coast road from Kalamata to Areopoli, on the Mani coast of the Peloponnese. A village with scenic beauty in and around it, seaside dining, old village houses and history.

Melitsina Village hotel with its flowers, shrubs and trees puts several stone house-apartments right on a garden-edged seafront. A terrace or balcony adds to the enjoyment of the place. Interiors are smart neat modern with stone, tile and blue or green tinted wood surfaces - furniture is light wood and the overall result is comfortable, bright, modern and yet homely.

You can swim from here, there is a wood platform at the edge of the sea, or wander along the seafront to the pebble beach. In fact walking along the seafront to the village to eat, drink or take a stroll is one of the pleasures available to you. Walks in the surrounding mountains or drives to further small villages also await for your delight and enjoyment.

Enjoy the gardens and dither, pause, sit and read here and there...then enjoy the indoor/outdoor cafe for a drink or snack. Energetic urges can be quenched at the beach volleyball court.

The different layouts are suitable for romantic stays, couples, and also for families in groups or children - it is easy to configure a stay which will suit multi-generation family vacations. Kitchens and bathrooms are modern, very neat.

The stone built houses contain studios for 2 to 3 people and suites for 4 people (6 at a pinch).
They are available on the ground or first floor. Views to the sea abound.

1 Studio for 3 people. Ground floor. Living room/kitchen & twin bedroom combined (plus 1 sofa-bed with good mattress), private covered veranda and terrace with mountain and side sea views.
2 Suites:
Blue Suite (2-5 people). Ground floor. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, living/dining area with kitchenette, sofa-bed with good mattress for 5th person. Covered veranda, sea view.

Green Suite (2-6 people). First floor. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, living/dining area with kitchenette, 2 sofa-beds with good mattress for 5th/6th person. Very large veranda with panoramic view (sea, village, beach, mountains).

Terrace or balcony, air conditioning (cooling/heating), flat screen TV with satellite channels, WiFi internet connection, safe box, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, hairdryer.

FACILITIES & SERVICES

Waterside sun-lounging decks, beach towels, cafe-bar, children's play area. Baby cots or play pens as needed. The rooms are cleaned daily & towels/linen are changed every other day.
